Updating Your Computer

Few people want to buy a new computer every three years so that they can use the new software. What the computer stores do not want to tell you is that you don't need to buy a new computer. All you need is a new video card, and new memory. You can even update laptop memory in the new laptops, as long as they are not older than 3 or 4 years old.

This can save several hundred, or even a couple thousand, dollars. Only people who are running a home based business which requires the use of databases and spread sheets, or accounting software, need to update their computers every couple of years.
