This years trends are a stark contrast from last year's lemons and bright oranges. This years colors are bold - but elegant.
Notice that the art look is still present. We do not see the bold oriental trees splashed across a dining room wall. Instead, it is more subtle, with more elegance, and an increased sense of relaxation and 'peace.'
Do not think solid color. Thing multiple shades of one color. Multiple shades of green from light and pale 'true green' to sage. This year, think of green as a neutral color.
