If you spend a few hours surfing the home decorating and supply stores you'll find some cool things to add to your home. One thing we found for our kitchen was a commercial 'pot faucet' that had been polished so it would fit in the average kitchen. This is a great addition for our kitchen. My husband is the chef, and he has arthritis, so carrying heavy pots is out of the question.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the $1800 for the store pot faucet. This is where home decorators need to think 'out of the box.' We got one of the snake hoses for the kitchen sink. We hooked it up, ran it under the floor and into the island. Then, we brought it up behind the stove. Now, when my husband needs water, he just pulls the hose out and fills the pot.
We've come up with a lot of excellent ideas for making the average home more 'user friendly.' I'll be posting more in the future.
