Spring Cleaning: Preventing Damage

It is easy in spring cleaning to clean the vents before the siding stains. But most people forget the small things. Very few people have libraries full of books that sustain damage from constant changes in heat and dampness. But, today's electronics can need a good cleaning - or keep them out of the damp air.

Area rugs are culprits for growing moulds and allergens. Roll up rugs and take them outside. Beat both sides, or vacuum, both top and bottom thoroughly.

Remember buying Melamine cabinets because they were suppose to be an easy clean. Well, if you want to get them cleaned without a lot of scrubbing and harsh cleaners, you'll need to get them clean before the dampness turns the dirt into grime.

The night air is the worst. Leaving the windows open at night may seem like a good idea, but it can cause damage.
