Very few people give any thought to the types of house dogs they choose. They can invested thousands of dollars into a renovation and then buy a dog that will destroy it. Even the choice between a hairless dog and one that requires hours of grooming a week can make a difference.
Some considerations might be whether to create a play space for a puppy where they won't scratch wood floors. The boy at in this picture is my puppy EMO. He is a Chinese Crested and a great breed for a house. He doesn't need exercise, and has soft feet, so he won't ruin my floors.
