Pools

We've been looking at those above ground pools, the ones that can be taken down each winter. They look like a great idea, at first glance. There are some problems that we are worried about. We know not to put the pool on the weeping tiles, but what if we put it to the side. How far must we put it without worrying about having the pressure displace the ground and still dislodge the tiles.

We do not need to pay for water. But, will draining that much water from our well undermind the water table and cause a sink hole? There are a lot of things to think about before we get one.
