Renovation Planning

Planning a renovation is more time consuming that you'd first expect. You can expect to spend at least six months looking for the right bathroom and kitchen fixtures. It takes more than premium and brand name to create the right room. You need to find the perfect faucet to match your room.

However, there are hundreds of styles, just visit an online fixture store. You can pick the right Bathroom Fixtures unless you have taken a look at everything that is out there. For example. We have an old bathroom that is less than 5' wide.

We found a bathtub that will fit our area, but still gives us enough room to be comfortable...not at the locate stores, even though we asked them for help and to special order. We found this tub online. We were able to have it ordered with mood lighting inserted in the tub, a no slip bottom, and cherry wood side to fit the rest of the bathroom.

We found this by using the handy selection 'wizard' on the site that lets me narrow the searches. This is vital, because it can take you days just to look at all the different models.

This is true of the kitchen too. We are looking at some fairly beautiful designer sinks. Yes, you can get $200 Kitchen Sinks - but why? The one we are looking at is $3500 and has an embossed design on the side.

POP QUIZ

Do you know what these Kitchen Faucets are called?

It is a faucet that fits on the wall by the stove. It is called a pot filler and will be a perfect addition to my husband's 'Chef's kitchen.'

We found everything, all the same style, online. Mind you, at $1200.00 this will be the only luxury we are adding to the kitchen...for now.
