Backsplash

The newest home decorating trend has been adding a backsplach over the kitchen counter. This may be granit, stone, concreate, tile, glass tile, tin, or any other material that can add a decorative flair but can still be cleaned.

Back splashes are great. They can be changed every few years to update the kitchen. They can be changed at a whim. Or, they can be placed on a fake-wall. This lets the homeowner change them at whim.
